Systematic Review Workshop #1: Literature Searching for Knowledge Synthesis In-Person
Are you considering starting a systematic or scoping review but don’t know how to get started? Attend our 3-part workshop series that gets into the nitty-gritty of comprehensive searching. These sessions will be hands-on and focus on the actual skills needed to complete the documenting, searching, deduplication, and screening process of a systematic or other large-scale comprehensive review.
In this first workshop we will:
- Utilize strategies for turning a research question into a searchable question with inclusion/exclusion criteria
- Practice using an objective, structured method for developing sensitive search strategies required for knowledge synthesis, utilizing subject headings, textwords and advanced techniques
- Apply a structured approach to searching in OVID Medline
Location: Online - Google Meet
Note: Registration is required. You will receive information about how to join the session in your registration confirmation email.
