3D Printing Workshop: Find and Customize Open Designs In-Person

In this workshop you will find free 3D design files, customize them using free software, select appropriate 3D printer settings and get your file ready for printing. You will consider the purpose of the item you are printing and make decisions about design modifications, size, strength, and print quality. We will also talk about why and how creators share their designs using open licenses.

Tools:

  • Tinkercad (free design software)
  • Cura (free 3D printing software)

Location: Library Instrucational Lab (Classroom), LIB 132
